The Michigan Water Quality Association (MWQA) is a trade association representing the water conditioning industry throughout Michigan. As the industry spokesperson in Michigan, MWQA concentrates on issues of state and local importance, while the Water Quality Association works on a national level.
A. To promote and encourage the expanded use of water conditioning equipment and services.
B. To perform such functions as shall promote and provide for the welfare of dealers in the water conditioning equipment and services including, but not limited to support of the National Water Quality Association, analyzing and informing the membership of conditions affecting or which may affect them; conduction research and educational activities; collecting, compiling, and disseminating industry statistics; representing the memberships in contracts with other organizations, the government, and the public; and, in general, engaging in any lawful activities which will enhance the economic progress of dealers in water conditioning equipment and services.
C. To do any and all lawful acts and to perform and furnish any and all lawful services which may be deemed to be useful or desirable in order to effectuate any of the above purposes, and to conduct any of the above activities.
D. The Association shall be nonpartisan and no funds of the Association shall be used or subscribed for any political purposes, and no political services shall be rendered for any individual member.
MWQA gives you strong representation before not only the legislature, but also those state government departments and agencies that can affect your business and your lives. The Association monitors the activities of the legislature and agencies whose rulings affect your industry.
